ARTIST CATALOGUE
A PUBLICATION BUILT ON STRUCTURE, TYPOGRAPHIC DISCIPLINE,
AND A RESTRAINED VISUAL LANGUAGE — DESIGNED TO KEEP THE WORK CENTRAL.
The catalogue presents the work of Lubomir Tomaszewski — a sculptor, designer, and one of the key figures shaping post-war Polish design, known for his innovative approach to porcelain and organic form.
The publication was conceived as a clear and controlled editorial system, combining curatorial texts, biography, and extensive visual material within a consistent structure.
The design approach is based on reduction and balance. Image, typography, and layout operate as one system — allowing the work to remain fully visible, without visual competition.
A modular grid ensures consistency across different types of content, from text-heavy sections to full-page image sequences and detailed artwork documentation.
The project reflects an approach to catalogue design focused on clarity, control, and respect for the material — where form supports the work, rather than defines it.
