EXHIBITION VISUAL IDENTITY
A modular and geometric iconography system built on industrial typography, complemented by a graphic sign system, exhibition signage, and wayfinding elements to create a cohesive visual identity.
As the head of the Visual Communication Studio at the Institute of Design in Kielce, I led the development of the visual identity for the "Akord" exhibition at Manufaktura Bolesławiec. The exhibition title, "Akord," was chosen as a protest against piecework labor, and this concept was the starting point for the identity design.
We created a distinctive visual language using a characteristic color palette and a dot motif derived from authentic stamps used in traditional Bolesławiec pottery. This design element was applied across exhibition signage, wayfinding, and all related visual materials to create a cohesive and impactful visitor experience.
The visual identity reflected both the manual labor behind the pottery and the social commentary central to the exhibition, blending design with meaning to provoke reflection on the nature of work. This project was executed in collaboration with designer Dorota Wasik.
